Prorock Charter 8/6/11 08/08/2011
Prorock Charter fishes through a tough bite !! 8/6 Had the pleasure of having a great group of guys aboard for a day of bottom fishing. Expectations were high until a report from a commercial friend that told me the grouper had lockjaw the day before. I was hoping they would chew, however it was a tough bite all day. The guys fished hard and managed a nice catch of grouper ,snapper, almacos, amberjacks, seabass, creole fish, beeliner, porgie, grunts, sharks, triggers and a couple nice amberjacks. The seas had a bit of a ground swell due to the tropical system to the south and I believe that had the fish a bit tight lipped. The guys did well to put together a nice mixed bag of fillets to carry home for some tasty family dinners Comments Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
